Fun Year with Children's Literature

New Authors Reading Challenge 2013

What's in a Name Reading Challlenge 2013

Terima kasih untuk Ren's Litter Corner yang udah ngehost What's in a Name Reading Challlenge 2013.

1.   Skullduggery Pleasant
2.  Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrel (Jilid II dan Jilid III)
3.  Harry dan Geng Keriput Berburu Harta Karun
4. Anne of Avonlea

17. Theresa Raquin
18. Howl's Moving Castle
19. Robinson Crusoe
20. Lola and the Boy Next Door
21. Anna and the French Kiss

Haha. That's not My Name. Kalau memang nantinya lebih, akan kuupgrade.

Books in English Reading Challenge 2013

1. Mockingbird
2. Delirium
3. Wither
4. The Iron Witch
5. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone  - J.K. Rowling

7. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban - J.K. Rowling

11. Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows - J.K. Rowling
12. Zombies Vs Unicorns
13. .....

Just For Fun Reading Challenge - February 2011

Just For Fun Reading Challenge 2011 is hosted by Dollycas's Thoughts

In January I have read The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate. Now for February, I chose Perfect Match by Jodi Picoult for this Just For Fun Reading Challenge.

From Goodreads

What does it mean to be a good mother?
How far would you go in the name of love -- and justice?

In the course of her everyday work, career-driven assistant district attorney Nina Frost prosecutes child molesters and works determinedly to ensure that a legal system with too many loopholes keeps these criminals behind bars. But when her own five-year-old son, Nathaniel, is traumatized by a sexual assault, Nina and her husband, Caleb, a quiet and methodical stone mason, are shattered, ripped apart by an enraging sense of helplessness in the face of a futile justice system that Nina knows all too well. In a heartbeat, Nina's absolute truths and convictions are turned upside down, and she hurtles toward a plan to exact her own justice for her son -- no matter the consequence, whatever the sacrifice.

Jodi Picoult has written many books and the local publisher has brought some of them out. After My Sister Keeper, Perfect Match is the second book for me. I have not started it yet. But I hope I will enjoy reading it. I found various review and rate for this book.

The cover above is not the one that I have in my shelf. I got the Indonesian cover but the resolution is bad. I think I have to scan it myself.

The Book Bucket List Challenge 2011

I found this book challenge at yareads' book blog.

From her post
The Book Bucket List Challenge was created to give you the chance to get to all those books that you’ve wanted to read for ages but never found the time to. Or, if you’re a reviewer like myself, it gives you the gift of free will – to read a non review book because till now you’ve had to focus only on your TBR pile

There is some level that need to be choosen and I hope I can achieved Level 3: 12 books in 2011

After reading the rules, I decided to join.

This reading challenge asks me to write the review at least with this format below

Book:

Rating: /5

Why did you include it to your Book Bucket List?:

Was it worth it?: Yes/No

Brief Thoughts?:

Would you recommend it?: Yes/No

By join this challenge and writing the review, I hope it will help me reaching my own goal.
